Local FAQs.

How much do movers cost in San Diego?

It depends on how much is moving, the distance, and access like stairs, elevators and parking. Call us for a free quote, or use the quote form to see an estimate in about a minute. A team member confirms the details with you before move day.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to four weeks ahead is a good rule. End-of-month and summer dates fill first. For a last-minute move, call and we’ll tell you honestly what’s open.

What counts as a local move?

A move that starts and ends in San Diego County, or stays within 100 miles. Local moves are done in one day, door to door.

What’s the cheapest day to move?

Weekdays in the middle of the month are usually the easiest to book. End-of-month dates, weekends and summer fill up first, so if your dates are flexible, ask about them when you get your estimate.

What are red flags when hiring movers?

A price given without asking what’s moving, no written estimate, no California license number, or a company name that doesn’t match the truck. Ask any mover for their California license number. Ours is CAL-T191015.

Should I tip my movers?

Tips are never expected and never added to your bill. If you’d like to thank the crew, cash split between them, or cold drinks and lunch on a long day, is always appreciated.

Do you move on weekends?

Yes. We’re open seven days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we’re a licensed California mover, CAL-T191015, and we can send a certificate of insurance to any building that requires one.
