Meet Darren, owner of San Diego Moving.
Darren learned to move things carefully long before he started San Diego Moving. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, he helped his dad refinish and repair antique furniture, and learned early how to wrap, tie down and load pieces that can’t be replaced.
At 16 he was loading 53-foot trucks for United Van Lines. Later he moved to San Diego and spent years managing gyms. He built more than 25 years in customer service along the way. He still hires the way he did at the gym: for kindness first.
After starting San Diego Moving in 2012, he kept it simple: be honest, hire people with a genuine care for others, and be the moving company you can trust to move your own family.
Darren is a family man and a father. He lives a fitness-inspired lifestyle, leads with faith, and works to be the best version of himself, for his team and his clients as much as for himself.
